Весной 2006-го микрофонную эстафету принял ветеран Exhorder и Trouble Кайл Томас, чей дебют в Alabama Thunderpussy состоялся на альбоме "Open Fire". Где-то в это же время в команде появился и новый бас-гитарист, Майк Брайант. После релиза "Open Fire" в марте 2006, а также выпуска "живого" альбома "Live at the Contamination Festival" Alabama Thunderpussy прекратила своё существование.
