В том же 1987-м состоялся первый визит "Nuclear assault" в Европу, где музыканты делили сцену с "Agent steel". Продолжая шлифовать свое мастерство, группа записала альбом "Survive", после чего вновь отправилась на гастроли. На этот раз компанию "Nuclear assault" составили "Slayer", что помогло музыкантам привлечь дополнительное число фанов и впоследствии самим выступать в качестве хедлайнеров с поддержкой из "Acid reign" и "Reanimator". Посетила команда и Южную Америку, где отыграла серию концертов с "Sepultura".
