Группа Visceral Bleeding сформировалась ближе к концу девяностых Peter'ом и Niklas'ом с целью игры традиционного Death металла шведской школы, но с добавкой своих уникальных элементов, тех, которых, по мнению самих друзей, больше всего недоставало в Swedish Death Metal. Получилось нечто, что можно охарактеризовать как "смесь брутальности и техничности под влиянием таких банд, как Suffocation и Monstrosity".
