Залатав брешь в составе свежим телом молодого ударника Дэниэла Уайлдинга, Carcass смогли записать диск, о котором поначалу хочется говорить только в превосходных тонах. В первую очередь в глаза бросается работа инструменталистов, точнее, одного инструменталиста, которая стремится (в прямом смысле) к определению “идеальная”. Чисто и самозабвенно, - наиболее адекватные характеристики игры Стира, но чем больше он стремятся к некой субъективной точке “идеальности”, чем больше наращивает мелодичность и натягивает пружину драйва, тем сильнее музыка теряет такие далеко не вторичные черты, как запоминаемость и эмоциональность.
