Nifelheim - шведская блэк-метал группа. Была образована в 1990 году братьями-близнецами Эриком и Пер Густавсон, носившими прозвища Tyrant и Hellbutcher. Группа играет скорее олд-скульный блэк-метал в духе ранних Bathory, Venom, венгерского Tormentor и чежского Master's Hammer, чем популярный в Норвегии тру-блэк метал. Nifelheim, в викингской мифологии, - Царство холода, льда и тумана. По повериям туда попадают те, кто погиб не в битве.
