Шведская группа Cipher System была сформирована под названием Eternal Grief ещё в 1996 году, на волне популярности "гётеборгского звука". Но впервые метал-андеграунд заговорил о них после демо 'Eyecon' в 2001 году, их следующее демо привлекло внимание лейбла Lifeforce Records, который разместил три их композиции на сплит-CD с группой By Night.И вот сегодня они возвращаются на сцену - их прогрессивный мелодичный дэт с заметным влиянием электроники звучит актуально, как никогда. Летом 2011 года группа подписала контракт с Nuclear Blast. Новый полноформатный студийный альбом 'Communicate The Storms' вышел 9 сентября 2011 года. Запись сделана в Studio Fredman (At the Gates, Deathstars, Dimmu Borgir, Arch Enemy, Soilwork, Dark Tranquillity, Amon Amarth, In Flames, HammerFall, Opeth). Оформление - Seth Siro Anton (Soilwork, Paradise Lost, Septic Flesh).
