Но на дворе был 1980 год и никто ещё не знал какая судьба ждёт группу, которая тогда казалась пиком металлического искусства. "White Album" включил в себя 6 драйвовых композиций, в духе Motorhead, впоследствии именно эти песни стали образцом для создания «Kill Em All» Металлики. Эти 6 шедевров сочетали сверхскоростной (по тем временам) ритм, мощные риффы, виртуозные гитарные соло и конечно блестящий голос Шона Харриса (который в 1984 году пробовался на место вокалиста Металлики). Но особняком стояла мрачная «Am I Evil?», которая могла бы стать одним из лучших композиций Black Sabbath, напиши её Томми Айоми. Данная песня выделяется и лирикой, если во всём альбоме преобладают стандартные «Sex, Drugs and Rock-n-Roll», то тут речь идёт о тёмном маге рассуждающем о своём месте в нашем жестоком мире.
