Альбом «Wild Obsession» не шедевр, но пластинка крепкая и сильная. Как закоренелый фанат группы, так и обычный поклонник харды, по достоинству должен оценить такие яркие композиции как мощный боевик «Call Of The Wild Dogs», мрачноватые номера «Slave Of Love» и «Cold As Ice», приятную и душевную балладу «Broken Heart», на следующий год вышедшую отдельным синглом. Особенно выделяется на общем плане «Call Her Princess» (песня группы Steeler) - настоящий хеви метал, с динамичной ритм секцией и драйвовыми риффами, однако удаётся Акселю записать и на медленном темпе нечто очень красивое и цепляющее в лице тяжеловесного и тягучего номера «Snake Eyes». Завершают пластинку ещё три крайне удачных произведения: это хитовые «Hear You Calling Me» и «(Don't Trust The) Promised Dreams», а также необычный инструментальный номер «Return Of The Calyph From The Apocalypse Of Babylon», снимающий напряжение. В целом, великолепная работа, заслуживающая внимания каждого любителя хард рока.
