И действительно, заметно, что атмосфера - именно то, на чём фокусировались музыканты. Она соответствует названию опуса: через музыку передаётся атмосфера ночи, тьмы. Она хорошо ощущается по таким композициям, как "Circle Me...", "Kiss Of Our Dark Mother", пожалуй, это и есть лучшие композиции на альбоме, наряду с "Awaken Tiamat" и "Death's Black Light". Этим альбом по звучанию напоминает прошлый. Он не особо агрессивный, больше оккультный.
"Nightside Emanations" - работа не плохая. И, хоть Torog утверждал в одном из интервью, что "музыка не повторяется, хотя кто-то и пытался это доказать", всё же стоит отметить, что альбом очень схож по звучанию с прошлым. Должно быть, этим он точно не разочарует любителей того.
