Но и в истории Barclay James Harvest наличествовал момент триумфа – издание ее второго концертного LP «Live Tapes» (1978). Стоит согласиться с британскими критиками, признающими этот двойник работой, на которой «запечатлены величайшие моменты музыкальной истории группы». Как и любой классический концертник 70-х, «Live Tapes» предлагает слушателю не просто лучшие номера группы, но в значительно более выигрышных и мощных по сравнению со студийными вариантах. Главное отличие концертных версий от оригиналов – в насыщенности их отнюдь не одномерными партиями клавишных Уолли Уолстенхолма и очень теплой и объемной звуковой подаче, выгодно разнящейся со студийным звучанием. Своевременное переиздание дополнено тремя бонус-треками и отличным буклетом с архивными материалами.
