В первую очередь, незатасканностью стилистики - на современной сцене можно встретить не так много групп, ориентирующихся на творчество Nevermore. Но скандинавы при этом звучат порой на порядок сложнее Уоррела Дейна и компании, а кое-где еще и поизобретательнее. Сложные, многоступенчатые композиции Communic (всего семь штук на весь альбом, плюс два трека на подарочном издании и на российской версии, где они не обозначены на обложке, но на компакте присутствуют) удерживают слушателя в постоянном напряжении, и хотя скандинавов трудно назвать настолько уж непредсказуемой группой, они отлично умеют обходить устоявшиеся шаблоны и клише.
