Думается мне, первое, от чего фанаты Dragonforce должны испытать тяжелейший приступ экзистенциального ужаса при знакомстве с новым альбомом "The Power Within" - это длина песен. Помнится, в одном интервью Герман Ли и компания заявили, что никогда не будут писать короткие композиции. В конце концов, что такое три-четыре минуты? Два гитарных соло. А соло - это альфа и омега творчества Dragonforce. Можно сколько угодно называть их творчество гитарным онанизмом, но именно наличие феноменальной гитарной техники, позволяющей им писать сверхскоростные и притом очень мелодичные, драйвовые и запоминающиеся соло, выделяет Dragonforce среди других power metal групп, определяет их нишу.
