В начале 90-х музыкант пристроился на "Giant Records" и выпустил под собственным именем диск "Still". Работа вновь была коммерчески ориентированной, однако, так же как и "Bankstatement", провалилась. Предприняв еще одну неудачную попытку покорить сердца слушателей с альбомом "Strictly Inc.", клавишник надолго перестал экспериментировать с сольными записями. Лишь в 2004 году Бэнкс решил поработать в новом направлении и вместе с Лондонским Филармоническим Оркестром выдал свое первое классическое произведение "Seven: A Suite for Orchestra"
