После выхода дебютного альбома, "Labyrinth of dreams", в составе вновь произошли замены – место Эда Уорби, подавшегося в Gorefest, занял Дирк Брюйненберг, а вторую гитару вместо Арно ван Брюсселя взял Джилберт Пот. Выпустив вторую пластинку, Elegy совершили неплохое турне в компании с такими коллективами, как Annihilator, Phantom Blue, The Gathering, Gorefest. Хотя третий альбом, "Lost", получил в прессе очень положительные отзывы, коммерческого успеха так и не состоялось. В результате команду покинул Эдвард Ховингс, отправившийся творить мелодик-метал в Prime Time".
