Посему я и считал Falconer всего лишь хорошей группой, но не более. Какое же было моё удивление, когда я послушал «Among Beggars and Thieves»! С первой же песни, в которой главный рифф отдалённо напомнил любимую мной неоклассику, и до последней эпической композиции я просто сидел и слушал, не отрываясь. Ни на каплю не отойдя от своего фирменного стиля, команда сумела выпустить настолько, не побоюсь этого слова, шикарный альбом, что я лично поначалу ошалел от услышанного. Особенно мне импонирует то, что на диске преобладают скоростные боевики, никогда жаркой страсти к балладам не испытывал. Здесь же, помимо скорости, ещё имеется такая штучка, как запоминаемость.
