Юбилейный, десятый по счету, альбом коллектива предстает перед нами очень гитарным, рифф- и соло-ориентированным, одновременно современным и старомодным. С одной стороны, «Graveward», безусловно, ретро-альбом, где много гитарных штампов 80-х, шреда, гитарных завываний в соляках, типичной кавасимовской клавишной пурги а-ля олдскульный хоррор. Звучит все не в первый раз почти карикатурно, но ностальгия неизмеримо более сильное чувство, чем скепсис. С другой стороны, плотный и суховатый дэтовый риффинг с постоянными флажолетами ярко обозначает, что японцы в курсе текущего положения дел.
