Продолжительные композиции затягивают не хуже водоворота, осыпая слушателя каскадом эмоций; при этом угнетающе-подавляющая музыка Леса Звезд не рождает ответных отрицательных фидбэков - прослушивание альбома схоже с сеансом некоей психологической терапии, духовным очищением, а ближе к концу диска чувствуешь даже некий катарсис. Цикличные завораживающие ритмы, чрезвычайно редко взрывающиеся бластбитами, придают схожести с фьюнерал-думом, только в отличие от большинства заунывных фьюнеральщиков A Forest of Stars звучит до неприличия свежо и остро. Пожалуй, это и есть основное достоинство альбома: если многие другие депрессив блэковые диски хочется забыть сразу по их окончанию, то к "The Corpse of Rebirth" хочется возвращаться снова и снова!
