Стилистически новое творение оставляет лишь тонкие намёки на «Hope» или «Emerald Forest and the Blackbird» и ближе по звучанию подходит к группам Katatonia или Paradise Lost, при этом не утратив той самой искренности и полной отдачи в создании своего творения. За это стоит отдать должное всей команде, которая после ухода двух участников не только смогла быстро восстановиться, но и слаженно сработала за короткий промежуток времени, сумев действительно обратить тьму во свет, похожий на холодное северное солнце появившееся после долгих месяцев сплошного мрака. Особой магии звучанию «When A Shadow Is Forced Into The Light» добавляет присутствие струнного квартета, направленного не на отвлечение слушателя, а лишь на то, чтобы подчеркнуть, придать гласность и оставить в памяти нужные моменты.
