Мастерплан с самого первого своего толчка сердца и первого дыхания стал чем-то высоким и недосягаемым. Удивительно как можно попасть буквально за счёт одного альбома в элиту пауэра – на это способны лишь единицы! Кроме того, диску «Masterplan» может составлять конкуренцию только вышедшие ранее металические оперы «Avantasia Pt 1-2», которые также стали чем-то из ряда вон выходящим! Выходцы из Helloween Роланд Грапов и Ули Куш стали онователями банды, взяв на место вокалиста весьма опытного парня Йорна Ланде (Jorn, Ark, Millenium, Beyond Twilight), который на данном альбоме дебютировал как один из самых лучших пауэрных вокалистов современности, а потом ещё поговаривали, что он стал открытием года.
