DGM с самого начала выбрали несколько отличное от большинства своих соплеменников направление и стали творить на стыке power и progressive. От альбома к альбому совершенствуя свою технику и постепенно отказываясь от ненужных наворотов в пользу мелодичности, коллектив записал в 2004 году свой пятый альбом "Misplaced", вобравший в себя все лучшее, что скопилось за время существования группы: прекрасную технику, узнаваемый вокал и мелодичность.
