Konkhra is a Danish death metal/extreme metal band formed in Køge in 1989. Konkhra was formed under the name of "Vicious Circle" in Køge—a small town south of Copenhagen—in November 1989. Before changing their name, they issued the self-titled demo Vicious Circle (1990); renaming themselves "Konkhra" they followed up with Malgrowth (1991). Konkhra then, signed with Progress label and released the Stranded EP.
