Запись своего четвертого студийного альбома со скромным, но емким названием "4" команда начала в конце 1998-го.Сессии несколько подзатянулись и альбом поступил в продажу в феврале 2000-го. Пластинка имела хорошие отзывы в прессе (в том числе и европейской), но, несмотря на этот факт, после японских гастролей заявил о своем уходе Томми Харт. Вокалист создал новую команду "Soul doctor", а проект "Fair warning" остался замороженным.
