Музыкальный материал представленный на «Savage Land» тоже, к сожалению, не радует шедеврами – очень простенький мелодик металл, только с натяжкой являющийся пауэром, зато имеющий несколько связей с хард роком и даже иногда с прогрессивом, хотя с какими то конкретными коллективами параллелей провести нельзя, что является плюсом Mob Rules. Заслуживают внимания только редкие и немногочисленные композиции, такие как средне темповые мелодичные номера «Hold Back The Light» и «Secret Sign», а также более быстрый и энергичный боевик «Blaze Of First Warning», но опять же таки от музыки так и веет стандартом, а сама мелодичность очень скромна в своих эмоциях.
