Прямо скажем, подобная тематика никак не сочетается с эстетикой «черного металла», поэтому первый полнометражный альбом ALCEST к блэку имеет весьма и весьма косвенное отношение. Но все же имеет. Все-таки его автор всю жизнь играл именно блэк-метал в самых разных его ипостасях, а потому и «ВОСПОМИНАНИЯ ИНОГО МИРА» имеют в своей основе звучание атмосферного блэка: дрожащее гитарное тремоло и эфирную синтезаторную подложку, словно сливающиеся в единое целое у далекого горизонта.
