"Rain upon the Impure" – cамое хтоническое и соответственно самое лучшее творение The Ruins Of Beverast по той простой причине, что именно эта эстетика предельной грязи, глухости, сырости, удушливой атмосферы более всего подходит творчеству фон Майленвальда. Тут все сделано в лучшем виде: длиннющие трэки, мрачные торжественные вступления, ожесточенные скоростные преследования. Гитары являются нам в виде грозной жужжащей массы, ударные иногда тоже сливаются в могущее месиво бластбита, но все работает на творческую вселенную немца, создает временной и пространственный колорит.
