И планку мужики в целом удержали. "Черти" по сути продолжают музыкальную тему предыдущего альбома. Фирменный баланс между блэком и дэтом держится, как всегда, идеально, скоростные тремоло очень грамотно и вкусно чередуются с медленным дэтовым риффингом. Никуда не делся и надрывно-трагичный мелодизм, особенно хорошо прослеживающийся на выходивших до этого в качестве синглов "Totendanz" и "Virtus Asinaria". Первую я бы даже охарактеризовал как "Vomit Upon the Cross" здорового человека, а вторая - неимоверно душераздирающая около-баллада.
