Boston is an American rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, that achieved its most notable successes during the 1970s and 1980s. Centered on guitarist, keyboardist, songwriter, and producer Tom Scholz, the band is a staple of classic rock radio playlists.

Cross Road is the first greatest hits album by American rock band Bon Jovi, released on October 13, 1994 by Mercury Records. The album contains hits from between Bon Jovi (1984) and Keep the Faith (1992) and two new tracks: the hit singles "Always" and "Someday I'll Be Saturday Night", as well as a new, updated rendition of "Livin' on a Prayer" entitled "Prayer '94" available only on the North American versions. "Runaway" was never recorded with the current band, though at that time there were plans to put a "Runaway '94" on the album but it was never recorded. The diner located on the cover of the album is the Roadside Diner in Wall Township, NJ, near the crossroads of Route 33 and Route 34.

Bob Marley and the Wailers were a Jamaican reggae and ska band created by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer. The band formed when self-taught musician Hubert Winston McIntosh (Peter Tosh) met Neville Livingston (Bunny Wailer), and Robert Nesta Marley (Bob Marley) in 1963. By late 1963 Junior Braithwaite, Beverley Kelso, and Cherry Smith had joined the Wailers. After Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer left the band in 1974, Bob Marley began touring with new band members. His new backing band included brothers Carlton Barrett and Aston "Family Man" Barrett on drums and bass respectively, Junior Marvin and Al Anderson on lead guitar, Tyrone Downie and Earl "Wya" Lindo on keyboards, and Alvin "Seeco" Patterson on percussion. The "I Threes", consisting of Judy Mowatt, Marcia Griffiths, and Marley's wife, Rita, provided backing vocals.

Loudmouth – The Best of Bob Geldof and the Boomtown Rats is a 1994 greatest hits compilation album from Bob Geldof and the Boomtown Rats, consisting mostly of Boomtown Rats material but also some of Geldof's solo work. It peaked at No. 10 in the UK Albums Chart in July 1994.

An unwieldy four-disc, 52-track box set, Under Wheels of Confusion: 1970-1987 nevertheless contains the bulk of Black Sabbath's best work, dipping considerably in quality during the second half of the set, when Ozzy Osbourne left the group and was replaced by Ronnie James Dio. Even though all of the stone-cold classics are here, as are all of Dio's best tracks, Sabbath remains best appreciated through their original albums, which capture the essence of the metal giants much better than this box.

The Best of Belinda, Volume 1 (released in the United States as Her Greatest Hits) is the fifth album by American singer Belinda Carlisle, released in 1992 by Virgin Records. It is Carlisle's first greatest hits compilation album and includes her hits from 1986 to 1991. It is the only Carlisle album to have topped the UK Albums Chart. The Australian and Japanese cover art differs from the International versions as does the American release.

"In Too Deep" is a pop song written by Rick Nowels and produced by Andrew Farriss for Jenny Morris's fourth studio album Salvation Jane (1995). It was released as the album's fourth single but was not successful, not charting in Australia.
The song was covered by American singer Belinda Carlisle, produced by David Tickle for her sixth studio album A Woman and a Man. Her version was much more successful charting at #6 in the UK and #11 in Australia accrediting gold by ARIA. As of January 2004, "In Too Deep" was the 312th most played song ever on Australian radio.

A Place on Earth: The Greatest Hits is the second greatest hits album by American singer Belinda Carlisle, released in the UK on November 30, 1999 by Virgin Records. A limited edition was released with a bonus disc featuring remixes and rare b-sides. A European edition was also released with an interview CD featuring Belinda providing answers to over 40 questions sent in by fans.

Released in January 2002, and drawing from four decades of her work, it includes all but one of her top-ten hits, and most of her top-forty hits.
