David Gilmour is the first solo album by Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour. The album was released in May and June 1978 in the United Kingdom and the United States, respectively. The album reached number 17 in the UK and number 29 on the Billboard US album charts; it was certified Gold in the US by the RIAA. The album was produced by Gilmour, and consists mostly of blues, guitar oriented rock songs except for the piano-dominated ballad "So Far Away".

About Face is the second studio solo album by Pink Floyd vocalist and guitarist David Gilmour. Released in March 1984, it was co-produced by himself and Bob Ezrin. Two tracks, "All Lovers Are Deranged" and the more radio-friendly "Love on the Air", were co-written by Gilmour and his long-time friend Pete Townshend, the main songwriter for legendary rock band The Who (Gilmour composed the music and Townshend wrote the lyrics).

While both David Cassidy and the Partridge Family have been at least partially anthologized over the years, it remains a thing of wonder that nobody has yet sat down to compile the best of both into one all-encompassing package -- all the more so since Cassidy's personal appeal remains as high as any '70s icon could dream of climbing. Station to Station is the 10th studio album by English musician David Bowie, released on 23 January 1976 by RCA Records. In early 1975, Bowie moved to Los Angeles, California to shoot a role for Nicolas Roeg's film The Man Who Fell to Earth. His role in the film would heavily influence him and his next onstage persona for the rest of the year. Having developed an addiction to cocaine the previous year, Bowie's mental state deteriorated rapidly during his time in the city, affecting numerous personal relationships. The commercial success of his previous album Young Americans (1975) allowed him greater freedom when he began recording his next album.

Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps), also known simply as Scary Monsters, is the 14th studio album by English musician David Bowie, released on 12 September 1980 by RCA Records. Over the previous three years, Bowie had garnered massive artistic success with the "Berlin Trilogy", which consisted of Low, "Heroes" and Lodger (1977–1979). However, the trilogy had proven less successful commercially. By 1980, numerous artists Bowie had inspired with the trilogy were out-performing him commercially, leading him to desire a more commercial sound for his next record.

Blues in Orbit is an album by American pianist, composer and bandleader Duke Ellington recorded for the Columbia label in 1959 and released in 1960.
The original liner notes by Teo Macero described this album as primarily a blues album (as most of the track titles indicate). The album was re-released on CD in 2004 with bonus tracks including alternate takes and tracks from earlier sessions.

City Of Lights is an exciting new melodic hard rock collaboration between British newcomer songwriter/guitarist Neil Austin and Greek vocal sensation Manos Fatsis (Odyssey Desperado/Hideaway). They deliver hard-edged melodic anthems driven by crunching riffs and lush keyboard textures combined with soaring, passion-filled vocal melodies.
The project was born when Austin - armed with a collection of songs inspired by the classic hard rock sounds of the 80s and the new wave of current AOR bands - began the search for a vocalist who possessed the tone, range and emotion to take the songs to the next level. After hearing Fatsis' work on Odyssey Desperado's "Don't Miss The Sunset" and Hideaway's self-titled debut, he knew he had found the right man. The two connected via Facebook and together they began working on honing the songs to perfection. When the time came to find a rhythm section, Austin reached out to members of his favourite band, brothers Robin (bass) and Mats (drums) Eriksson from modern melodic rock monsters degreed and after hearing the demos, both agreed to contribute to the album.

Panic of Girls is the ninth studio album by the American rock band Blondie. It was the band's first album of new material in nearly 8 years, since 2003's The Curse of Blondie. The album was first released digitally on May 30, 2011, followed by physical releases in various formats later.

Lodger is the thirteenth studio album by English singer-songwriter David Bowie, released in 1979. The last of the 'Berlin Trilogy' recorded in collaboration with Brian Eno, it was produced in Switzerland and New York City, and was more accessible than its immediate predecessors Low and "Heroes", having no instrumentals and being somewhat lighter and more pop-oriented. It was still an experimental record in many ways and was not, by Bowie's standards, a major commercial success. Indifferently received by critics on its initial release, it is now widely considered, along with other albums such as Diamond Dogs, to be one of Bowie's most underrated albums.

Changesbowie is a compilation album by David Bowie, released in 1990 in the United States by Rykodisc and by EMI in the UK as part of Rykodisc's Bowie remastering program, to replace the deleted RCA Records compilations Changesonebowie and Changestwobowie.

Essence ordinaire is the third studio album from French rock group Zebda, released in 1998.
It was their landmark album, containing some of their most popular songs, in particular "Tomber la chemise", which catapulted them to fame and earned them a Victoire de la musique award.

Это феноменальная работа, которая слушается на одном дыхании. Остается надеятся что ребята на следующем полноформатнике смогут перепрыгнуть установленную высоту.

Музыкальные идеи, которые развивает этот квартет были заложены еще WINDIR. Традиционная скандинавская мелодика, опирающаяся на корни фольклорной музыки соединена с суровой экспрессией скандинавского же блэк-метал, полученное полотно прошито нитями европейской классической музыки (незаметно, но крепко скрепившими ткань), и на эту основу нанесен рисунок, имеющий современные мотивы (от индустриальных до трэш- и модерн-металлических).
