A Very Special Season (also known as A Very Special Season: 14 Songs for Christmas) is a holiday album released by American pop singer Diana Ross in 1994.
Produced by Nick Martinelli, whom she worked with several times around the early nineties. It is lush, soulful pop that stands as one of her better holiday themed albums.

An excellent compilation of the many that have been released. As well as featuring the obvious hits such as the U.K no.1 hit "I'M STILL WAITING"and the unforgetable classic "TOUCH ME IN THE MORNING" this features some great album tracks like "ALL NIGHT LOVER" (from the excellent 1977 album "BABY IT'S ME" ) which is a commercial sounding Supremes type number. There also""AFTER YOU",and surprisingly a track from her movie debut "LADY SINGS THE BLUES is added with possibly the best song from the soundtrack "MY MAN". This album also features the powerful, all time great ballard "IT'S MY TURN" and the unforgetable duet with Lionel Richie, "ENDLESS LOVE". On the whole a great chill out album featuring just some of Ross fine work.
