Vor dem 2016 erschienenen Album "Weltenasche" hatte ich nie etwas von Karg gehört. Seit diesem Album aber, welches erst vier Jahre alt ist und dennoch definitiv zu meinen Lieblings-Metal-Alben gehört, verfolge ich das Soloprojekt von J.J., dem Frontmann der österreichischen Post-Black-Metaller Harakiri For The Sky (im Übrigen auch sehr zu empfehlen), mit großer Begeisterung. Zwei Jahre nach dem vielleicht nicht ganz so starken, aber immer noch grandiosen Nachfolger "Dornenvögel" steht nun "Traktat" vor der Tür.

The first disc contains songs from his 1990s blues albums After Hours, Blues Alive, Blues for Greeny and, most prominently, Still Got the Blues. The second disc is entirely live. Both discs feature blues veterans Albert King, B. B. King and Albert Collins as guest artists.
