Happy Nation is the debut album by the Swedish pop group Ace of Base. It was initially released in Denmark on 2 November 1992 by Mega Records. During the album's development, the group was significantly influenced by a Jamaican reggae band that was recording in a nearby studio. For its release in North America, Japan, and some Latin American countries, the album was retitled The Sign, featuring a heavily revised track listing along with three new tracks. To coincide with this, Happy Nation was reissued with the new tracks in other territories under the title Happy Nation (U.S. Version).

When Cerrone started recording his fourth album, The Golden Touch, fans were anxious to see what he would come up with. Would the project be as conceptual and ambitious as Supernature, or would Cerrone return to the happy, completely escapist party vibe of Love in C Minor and Cerrone's Paradise? Without question, Supernature was a tough act to follow, and Cerrone knew better than to try to turn his fourth album into Supernature: Part II. This excellent 1978 release is as strong as Supernature, although quite different. A departure from Supernature's moody horror/sci-fi ambiance, The Golden Touch is the lush Euro-disco album that fans of Love in C Minor and Cerrone's Paradise were hoping for -- but with a twist. The lyrics aren't entirely escapist; "Je Suis Music" addresses sociopolitical concerns while winning the listener over with its irresistible groove.

Love In C Minor is Cerrone's first album, released in 1976. It was released in France by Malligator Label. It is known also as Cerrone I, since it is the firstalbum by Cerrone, who labeled his albums with a number.. Based in Paris, Cerrone recorded, composed, and performed his solo debut Love in C Minor, again with Costandinos. Released on his own Malligator imprint, and distributed by Warner Filipacchi in France, it immediately shocked audiences with its controversial cover. It was later released with a new, tamer cover that took flashes of nude women into the background and replaced them with four arms clenched instead for the American release.

Cerrone’s Paradise opens with the title track Cerrone’s Paradise, which is a sixteen minute Magnus Opus, complete with erotic sounding backing vocals. Opening with the sound of background noise and female conversations, chiming guitars, lush, cascading strings and chiming guitars combine with keyboards as the track gets underway. With strings, rhythm section and guitars driving the track along, bursts of rasping horns punctuate the track, while backing vocalists unite, contributing sweet, sultry harmonies. The strings swirl and sweep, drums pound relentlessly, while flourishes of keyboards and percussion augment the arrangement. A searing guitar solo, breathless, sensuous vocals and swathes of cascading strings, combine with the relentless pounding drums and percussion. Later they give way to erotic sounding vocals as the track reaches 126 beats per minute. For sixteen majestic minutes, a true, timeless disco classic reveals its charms, subtleties and sensuous sound.

It is a very nice collection providing a good review of Boney M music. It does miss a few really important hits that you can find in a 2-disk collection, yet, with only 3 CDs doesn't have all songs from their gold time. So, it is a rather extension of your collection than the only Boney M set you would like to have.

Village People is an American disco group known for its on-stage costumes and suggestive lyrics in their music. The group was originally formed by French producers Jacques Morali and Henri Belolo and lead singer Victor Willis following the release of the debut album Village People, which targeted disco's large gay audience. The group's name refers to Manhattan's Greenwich Village, with its reputation as a gayborhood. The characters were a symbolic group of American masculinity and macho gay-fantasy personas. As of January 2020, Willis is the only original member of the group.

True to its name, The Village People's The Album Collection 1977-1985 includes the complete discography from the infamous sextet, issued primarily on the Casablanca and later RCA Victor labels. A total of nine albums are featured, including the double-disc Live and Sleazy. All discs are packaged in miniature replicas of their original album sleeves; both Live and Sleazy and 1980's Can't Stop The Music retain their original gatefold designs. However, there are almost no bonus tracks, save for a remix of 1985's "Sex Over The Phone" included when the group's final original album was issued on CD nearly 15 years later. (This means "America," the closing track for In The Street, the American edition of 1982's Fox On The Box, is missing in action. A 3CD compilation, released under Edsel sublabel Crimson's Gold product line, offered some rare 12″ versions that this set unfortunately lacks.)
