А все началось когда в 1980 году один из управляющих издательской компании в Голландии Red Bullet Productions, по имени Виллем ван Коотен, зашел в музыкальный магазин виниловых пластинок и услышал интересный попурри в стиле диско. Конечно, диско мало кого можно было бы удивить, так как это было время его пика популярности. Но его внимание привлекло то, что на той записи он услышал отрывки оригинальных треков Битлов и Madness в перемешку с диско ритмом популярных в то время "Funkytown".
