Supermax was a project of Austrian musician and producer Kurt Hauenstein (1949–2011), best known for the 1979 hit "It Ain't Easy", and "Lovemachine", a 1977 German #4 single, that peaked at #6 in Switzerland, #9 in Austria and #96 in US.

The first members of the band were Kurt Hauenstein (Mini Moog, vocals), Hans Ochs (guitar), Ken Taylor (bass guitar), Lothar Krell (keyboards), Peter Koch (percussion), Jürgen Zöller (drums) and the singers Cee Cee Cobb and Jean Graham. After Ken Taylor left the band in 1979, Kurt Hauenstein returned to his original music instrument, the bass guitar. Later, Bernadet Onore Eben and Jessica Hauenstein, the daughter of Kurt Hauenstein, joined the group as backing vocal singers. From 2006 Raimund Bretterbauer joined as his Sound Engineer and Co Producer.

Happy Nation is the debut album by the Swedish pop group Ace of Base. It was initially released in Denmark on 2 November 1992 by Mega Records. During the album's development, the group was significantly influenced by a Jamaican reggae band that was recording in a nearby studio. For its release in North America, Japan, and some Latin American countries, the album was retitled The Sign, featuring a heavily revised track listing along with three new tracks. To coincide with this, Happy Nation was reissued with the new tracks in other territories under the title Happy Nation (U.S. Version).

Cerrone’s Paradise opens with the title track Cerrone’s Paradise, which is a sixteen minute Magnus Opus, complete with erotic sounding backing vocals. Opening with the sound of background noise and female conversations, chiming guitars, lush, cascading strings and chiming guitars combine with keyboards as the track gets underway. With strings, rhythm section and guitars driving the track along, bursts of rasping horns punctuate the track, while backing vocalists unite, contributing sweet, sultry harmonies. The strings swirl and sweep, drums pound relentlessly, while flourishes of keyboards and percussion augment the arrangement. A searing guitar solo, breathless, sensuous vocals and swathes of cascading strings, combine with the relentless pounding drums and percussion. Later they give way to erotic sounding vocals as the track reaches 126 beats per minute. For sixteen majestic minutes, a true, timeless disco classic reveals its charms, subtleties and sensuous sound.

It is a very nice collection providing a good review of Boney M music. It does miss a few really important hits that you can find in a 2-disk collection, yet, with only 3 CDs doesn't have all songs from their gold time. So, it is a rather extension of your collection than the only Boney M set you would like to have.
