The Israeli mega-legends and psy-trance innovators Infected Mushroom are at it again with Friends On Mushrooms (Deluxe Edition) on Dim Mak Records. This release not only combines the three fan-favorite EPs Friends on Mushrooms Volumes 1 – 3 into one epic album, but also offers two exclusive new tracks, “Kafkaf” and “Kazabubu.” Continuing the evolution of their groundbreaking musical journey, the sub-genre pioneers deliver hypnotic arrangement, complex layered melodies, and synthetic rhythms in this mind-melting contribution.

The fourth full-length studio release for the South African rave-rap trio features guest appearances from Jack Black, Lil Tommy Terror, Sen Dog, and Dita Von Teese. It was released on 16 September 2016 through streaming platforms and as a digital download.

British hard rock veterans look back on better times to get a clearer picture of what’s to come. Third album on the comeback road from Jerusalem, who formed in the 70s and released one album before disbanding, finds original members Lynden Williams and Bob Cooke joined by prog luminaries Geoff Downes on keyboards and Nick D'Virgilio on drums. The danger in these situations is that the star turns become the main show, however on Cooler Than Antarctica, if anything, the opposite is true. Williams' vocals leading from the front (Cooke, credited as 'composer' doesn't actually appear on the album, as such), while it is guitarist Ollie Hannifan who drives most of the songs on show. Downes, alongside Ray Drury who also plays keys, instead provides a solid base from which everything else jumps off, while D'Virgilio, in the main, keeps it pretty simple (by his standards anyway…).

He founded his record label, Easy Star Records, in 1996, and while many other independent labels have come and gone, Easy Star has become a leading independent reggae label, adapting to changes in the industry and continuing to flourish. Michael’s latest project is ‘Goldswagger‘, a journey back to the r&b/soul/funk side of the reggae master. Goldswagger brings back the vibes of the late 70’s/early 80’s, when music was still recorded as live as possible in the studio and musicianship ruled the day.

The album also contains a song recorded with German singer Nino De Angelo, "Olympic Dreams".
