Wanting to stray from those, she was convinced by Davis to work with Dr. Luke and Martin in Stockholm, and with Moody and Hodges in Los Angeles, in pursuit of a pop rock direction. This also led her to part ways with her manager Simon Fuller and hire the management services of Jeff Kwatinetz before the album's release. Breakaway is primarily a pop rock record with elements of rock and soul music, marking a departure from the R&B-oriented sound of Thankful; its lyrics explore themes of heartbreak, love, and escapism.

Under the Iron Sea is the second studio album by the English rock band Keane, released on 12 June 2006. During its first week on sale in the UK, the album went to #1, selling 222,297 copies according to figures from the Official Chart Company. In the United States, the album went to #4 on the Billboard 200, selling 75,000 copies in its first week there. Since 22 January 2006, the album has sold over 3,000,000 copies worldwide.

Point of Entry is the seventh album from the British heavy metal band Judas Priest. It was released on 26 February 1981.
In 1980 Judas Priest garnered some airplay with "Breaking the Law" and "Living After Midnight" from their album British Steel. As a result the band pursued a more melodic, radio friendly direction on Point of Entry. However, the demo version of "On the Run" was not so radio friendly. It had "different lyrics, speed-metal pace, and spit-fire fast vocals."
