"В поисках утраченного аккорда" является третьим альбомом группы "Муди Блюз", выпущенным в '68 году фирмой Deram records. Фактически, альбом стал продолжением удачного эксперимента "Days of Future Passed", только на сей раз музыканты обошлись без симфонического оркестра, а сами стали, в некотором роде, маленьким студийным "симфоническим оркестром", использовав множество экзотических музыкальных инструментов. Меллотрон Майка Пиндера, можно сказать, заменяет весь симфонический оркестр своим неповторимым звучанием, также присутствуют различные флейты, гитары (в том числе и ситар, ставший популярным после применения его Джорджем Харрисоном в "Битлз"), виолончель и различные клавишные инструменты от фортепьяно до клавесина, ну и не забыть надо про таблы, виолончель и арфу.

Опять же легендарный альбом от великих Morbid Angel носящий название "Covenant" был выпушен в составе всего троих музыкантов. Из группы ушел Брунелле. Но все же группа не отчаялась и даже не стала искать второго гитариста в поддержку Азагтоту. Было решено записать альбом втроем. В итоге мы получаем альбом со звуком куда плотнее, тяжелее, чем на предыдущих альбомах. Это новая глава в истории смертельного метала. Как и обещали музыканты. Так же стоит отметить, что впервые этот альбом принес нам звук семиструнной гитары в этом жанре. Как говорил сам Трей, семиструнная гитара нужна была, что бы получилось отыграть все низкие звуки, которые были задуманы. Так же альбом оказался самым коммерчески успешным, добившись нехилых продаж.

Под забавной розовой обложкой скрывается замечательный альбом: красивый, самобытный и достаточно драйвовый. «Cursed» - это, можно сказать, академичный дэт-метал, вечная классика и пример для подражания молодой метал-поросли. Вот как надо петь, вот как надо гонять соляки, вот какие риффы сводят скулы! Стартуя со зловещей «Cursed», дэтовое безумие стремительно набирает обороты. Напоследок - величественное безумие «Opportunity is Gone» (какое там соло!) и лирическая тяжесть «Darkness».Есть альбомы лучше этого, очень много альбомов хуже. Но «Cursed» - это нечто особенное. Нетленная классика деда и желанный гость в любом металлическом плэй-листе.
