На мой взгляд, это самый лучший из сольников дядюшки Роба. К сожалению, ни альбом 2001 года, ни саудтрек к собственному ужастику про 1000 и один труп до него явно не дотягивают (о лошадином альбоме пока судить не тороплюсь). То есть налицо стандартная печальная тенденция, постигшая многих музыкантов - старость берёт своё, и зубов становится всё меньше. Так что, тем, кто желает впервые послушать Роба Зомби, советую начать именно с этого альбома. Тогда мнение окажется адекватным.

Нет, он не более роковый, не более фолковый (хотя мелодически определенной фолковостью в балладах Лив так и веет), но более гитарно-ажурный и спокойный, не искрящийся обилием ярких ритмов и каскадом задорных клавиш. Здесь музыка, в основном, основанная на кружевном, прозрачном, словно жемчужная инеевая дымка, слетающая с заснеженных ветвей, звуке акустической гитары. Первый трек альбома разгоняет альбом, а дальше погружаешься в волшебную и спокойную атмосферу этой работы. В целом создаётся впечатления одного целого произведения и не замечаешь, как переходишь от одного трека к другому. А этот красивый и нежный женский голос, словно гипнотизирует, не отпуская вас до самого конца пластинки. Я бы не стал пытаться точно определять, что за стиль выбрала себе исполнительница, главное, это красивая музыка и волшебное исполнение.

Тем более, это ее сольный проект, в рамках которого она может делать все, что заблагорассудится. Оттянулась она на славу – от типично слащавых песен до неплохих боевичков. Самое главное – это разнообразие материала. Видно, что ей было тесно в Театре, и у нее были наработки, которые она не могла загнать в рамки Leaves` Eyes. Действительно сильные и интересные мелодии, главное - разнообразные. Наконец-то она стала петь не в одной своей “фирменной” манере – на каждом треке вокал звучит как-то по-особому. Альбом слушается на одном дыхании.
