The Wall – Live in Berlin was a live concert performance by the English rock musician Roger Waters and numerous guest artists, of Pink Floyd's eleventh studio album The Wall (1979), itself largely written by Waters during his time with the band. The show was held in Berlin on 21 July 1990, to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall eight months earlier. A live album of the concert was released in September 1990. A video of the concert was also commercially released.

Amused to Death is the third studio album by the English rock musician Roger Waters, released on 7 September 1992 by Columbia Records. Produced by Waters and Patrick Leonard, it was mixed in QSound to enhance its spatial feel. The album features Jeff Beck on lead guitar on several tracks. The album's title was inspired by Neil Postman's 1985 book Amusing Ourselves to Death.
In 2015, the album was remixed and re-released with new artwork and in different formats, including a new 5.1 surround sound mix by original engineer James Guthrie, assisted by Joel Plante.

The double album is subdivided into four sections, with The instrumental section and The Vocal section containing shorter pieces, and The Complex section and The Live section containing excerpts from Oldfield's longer pieces.
Some versions of the vinyl have fewer or different tracks, with "The Instrumental Section" missing "In Dulci Jubilo" and "Portsmouth", while other versions replaced "Mistake" with "Pictures in the Dark".

Five Miles Out marked the beginning of a commercially successful period for Oldfield who scored his first UK top 10 album in seven years, peaking at No. 7. Two of the album's shorter songs, "Five Miles Out" and "Family Man", were released as singles which peaked at Nos. 43 and 45 in the UK, respectively. The latter became a bigger hit when pop duo Hall and Oates recorded a cover of the song. Five Miles Out was further promoted with the 100-date Five Miles Out World Tour 1982, the largest tour of Oldfield's career. It was reissued in 2013 with new stereo and 5.1 surround sound mixes and previously unreleased material.

Another Side of Bob Dylan is the fourth studio album by the American singer and songwriter Bob Dylan, released on August 8, 1964, by Columbia Records.
The album deviates from the more socially conscious style which Dylan had developed with his previous LP, The Times They Are A-Changin' (1964). The change prompted criticism from some influential figures in the folk community – Sing Out! editor Irwin Silber complained that Dylan had "somehow lost touch with people" and was caught up in "the paraphernalia of fame".

Angelehnt an seinen Erfolg mit dem Vorgängeralbum Five Miles Out setzte Oldfield erneut auf das Prinzip: Seite 1 (der damaligen LP) mit einem langen Instrumentalstück (21 Minuten), Seite 2 mit einem kurzen Instrumentalstück und vier gesungenen Liedern. Im Booklet schreibt Oldfield dazu: “One side is very commercial (…) while the other is more the material I want to do for personal satisfaction. It’s a case of keeping everybody happy.” („Eine Seite ist sehr kommerziell (…) während die andere eher das Material enthält, das ich zur persönlichen Befriedigung kreiere. So sind Alle glücklich.“)
