На мой взгляд, один из лучших альбомов Bal-Sagoth, наряду с "The Power Cosmic" и "Starfire Burning...". Звучание стало, как и обещали, куда более готическим (если это слово можно пременить к Bal-Sagoth) и мрачным, исчезла некая хаотичность. Выделил бы песню "Dreamer in the Catacombs of Ur" - очень эмоциональная и приятная. Вообще, этот релиз отличает особая пафостность. От силы еще двум-трем группам я поставил бы девятку, не говоря уж о десятке! Однако, я предчувствую, что тех кто начал слушать группу с ранних альбомов он разочарует (что, в общем-то, не слишком необычно). Однако если вы только хотите познакомится с миром Sagoth, то приложите усилия, купить 2001. Остальные альбомы от этого ничего не потеряют...
