"Diver Down" - 5-й студийный альбом группы "Van Halen". Записывался с января по март 1982 года в Калифорнии на Sunset Sound (Лос-Анджелес). Продюсером снова выступил Тэд Темплемен, звукооператором - Донн Ланди.Альбом вышел 14 апреля того же года на лейбле Warner Bros. и практически сразу утвердился на 3-й позиции в американских чартах ("Bllboard 200" и "Pop Albums"). В Канаде добрался до 5-й позиции, но в Великобритании застрял на 36-м месте. Впрочем, это не помешало ему стать 5 раз "платиновым" в США и Канаде суммарно, а по всему миру было распродано более 15 миллионов экземпляров.
