Выпущенный легендарными рокерами через два года после выхода пластинки «5150» (1986) альбом под названием «OU812» является по музыкальной части продолжением предыдущего творения. Вокал Sammy Hagar’а как всегда великолепен, впрочем, гитарный виртуоз Edward V. H. тоже не перестает радовать своей техникой. Звук на альбоме также улучшился. Из лучших вещей могу назвать «Mine All Mine», главный хит «When It's Love», «Source Of Infection», «Sucker In A 3 Piece» и «Black And Blue». Есть также и проходные номера, такие как «Feels So Good», «Finish What Ya Started» и самая нелюбимая «A Apolitical Blues» (для чего группа поместила блюзовую песню – не понятно). Что ж, альбом «OU812» на уровне предыдущей пластинки, но похуже, чем следующий великолепный альбом
