Dark Sky Island is the eighth studio album by Irish singer, songwriter, and musician Enya, released on 20 November 2015 by Warner Bros. Records internationally and by Reprise Records in the United States. After the release of her previous album, And Winter Came... (2008), Enya was unsure of her next career move so she decided to take a break from music which lasted four years. In the spring of 2012 she started to write and record new material for a new album with her longtime collaborators, producer and arranger Nicky Ryan and his wife, lyricist Roma Ryan. Enya gained inspiration for the title track and the album from the 2011 designation of Sark in the Channel Islands as a dark-sky preserve and a collection of Roma Ryan's poems on islands.

And Winter Came... is the seventh studio album by Irish singer, songwriter, and musician Enya, released on 10 November 2008 by Warner Bros. Records. After recording new Christmas songs for her fourth EP Sounds of the Season with Enya (2006), Enya started work on a Christmas album of traditional carols and original tracks, but the idea was changed to a collection of songs with a Christmas or winter theme as it better suited the style of the new material. It was recorded with her longtime collaborators, arranger and producer Nicky Ryan and his wife, lyricist Roma Ryan.

Amarantine is the sixth studio album by Irish singer-songwriter and musician Enya, released on 21 November 2005 by Warner Bros. Records. Following the release of her 2002 compilation box set Only Time – The Collection, Enya took a short break before she started work on a new album in September 2003, her first since A Day Without Rain (2000). Amarantine was recorded in Ireland with her longtime recording partners, arranger and producer Nicky Ryan and his wife, lyricist Roma Ryan. It is Enya's first album not to include a song in Irish and her first sung in Japanese and Loxian, a fictional language created by Roma.

A Day Without Rain is the fifth studio album by the Irish singer, songwriter and musician Enya, released on 20 November 2000 by WEA. Following a promotional tour in support of her compilation album Paint the Sky with Stars (1997), Enya took a short break before she resumed writing and recording a new album in 1998 with her usual recording partners, producer and arranger Nicky Ryan and his wife, lyricist Roma Ryan. In a musical departure from her previous albums, Enya incorporates a string section which was not a conscious decision.

Elton John is the second studio album by English singer-songwriter Elton John, released on 10 April 1970 by DJM Records. It was released by Uni Records as John's debut album in the United States; many people there assumed it was his first album, as Empty Sky was not released in that country until 1975. Elton John includes his breakthrough single "Your Song", and helped to establish his career during what was considered the "singer-songwriter" era of popular music. This is a stone cold groove of an album. Eliza is a great songwriter and delivers her version of standard rock blues with a modern slant. Not a boring second on this CD. I highly recommend. That voice, oh man. If you like her other offerings you'll love this, if you're new to eliza this is a great place to start but you'd do yourself a disservice not to get her other works.

Rolling the undercarriage straight is Skeeto Valdez (King Konga), Jeffrey ‘Shakey’ Fowlkes (Too Slim), Demarcus Sumter, John Mederios Jr, and Brian Clune on drums.
Adding extra lift on Hammond B3 is Bruce Bears (Duke Robillard) and Jim Alfredson (Janvia Magness.) Hitting the flight ceiling is Valerie Taylor (Eliza’s sister) plus Kymberli Wright (Straight Ahead) on supersonic backing vocals.

Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show (shortened to Dr. Hook in 1975) was an American rock band, formed in Union City, New Jersey. They enjoyed considerable commercial success in the 1970s with hit singles including "Sylvia's Mother", "The Cover of 'Rolling Stone'" (both 1972), "Only Sixteen" (1975), "A Little Bit More" (1976), "Sharing the Night Together" (1978), "When You're in Love with a Beautiful Woman" (1979), "Better Love Next Time" (1979), and "Sexy Eyes" (1980). In addition to their own material, Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show performed songs written by the poet Shel Silverstein.

Chile’s Extreme Metal scene continued to impress with COFFIN CURSE’s debut, “Ceased to Be,” an old school Death Metal record with riffs of maximum caliber. The album was eight tracks of fresh ideas mixed with old school stylings.
“Gathered unto Death” introduced the album with steady riffing and nice structure but nothing beyond what was expected of the release. The track jumped around with different riffs, progressing through them with ease before reaching a sort of grand finale. As a whole, the song was a strong start to the record.
Within the first half of the record, the scene was set for brutality. “Where Sickness Thrives” and “Chopped Clean Off” provided a look into the fierce riffing of the band. With very good transitioning and songwriting technique, the songs were effectively two of the strongest on the record.
