Oxymore is the twenty-second studio album by French musician and composer Jean-Michel Jarre. It was released on 21 October 2022 through Sony and Columbia. Originally, Jarre was planning a collaboration with the French composer Pierre Henry, one of Jarre's influences, but Henry died in 2017 and the collaboration was never completed. Henry had however recorded some sound bites for the collaboration, which Jarre used for the album. Jarre then added his own compositions on top.

Rebel Yell is the second studio album by English rock musician Billy Idol, released on 10 November 1983 by Chrysalis Records in the US and on 9 January 1984 in the UK. After the release of his 1982 eponymous debut studio album, Idol continued his collaboration with producer Keith Forsey and multi-instrumentalist Steve Stevens. The album was recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York. Initially recorded without a drummer, utilizing only the LinnDrum and Roland TR-808 drum machines, Forsey and Stevens later decided to hire Thommy Price to play drums on some of the songs. The cover sleeve and images were shot by Brian Griffin. Idol got the idea of the album's title after attending a party with the Rolling Stones and drinking Rebel Yell bourbon whiskey.

Пусть и звучит уже как сборник каверов группы на самих себя, но в этот раз они хотя бы вернулись к бодрой модернухе, оставив поп-танцульки из крайней плиты в прошлом. Откровений никаких и былых восторгов, как во времена дебюта, от альбома тоже можно не ждать. Но несколько зажигательных хитов (Inferno, Helix, Dream, Momentum, My Haven) тут как всегда в наличии, а большего я уже и не ждал от них.

Вообще, "Maximalism" является логичным продолжителем предыдущего альбома, но не без изрядной дозы экспериментов. Следует отметить большой крен в сторону популярных американских исполнителей и откровенной электроники, хотя прежде звучание Amaranthe было по большей части классическим шведским и основывалось на простеньких синтезаторных сэмплах. Гитары и ударные нынче задвинуты на второй план, уступая место красочной нетипичной для группы электронике, что сделало музыку немного легче, и ещё более качёвой, чем прежде. По-прежнему присутствуют гитарные соло, а звук, как и всегда, записан на уровне, потому недостаток гитар не ощущается.

The Nexus is the second studio album by Swedish heavy metal band Amaranthe. The album was released on varying dates in March 2013, starting on the 13th in Japan and concluding on the 26th in the US. The Nexus is a development of the sound and ideas Amaranthe introduced on their first record. The band stated that they felt "the contrasts are greater, the mix and blends of genres is more controversial, and more creative freedoms were taken in this album." It was the last album with harsh vocalist Andy Solveström.

По поводу музыкального материала - продукт получился качественным, добротным, с большой долей коммерции. Но как в большинстве коммерческих проектах , на мой сугубо субъективный взгляд, альбому не хватает какой-то искорки, способной разжечь огонь в душе (как в первых двух альбомах), нет чего-то революционно нового, чем могли бы удивить музыканты. В целом ставлю твёрдую "четвёрку".

Amaranthe is the debut studio album by Swedish heavy metal band Amaranthe. The album was released April 11, 2011 and reached #35 and #16 on the Swedish and Finnish charts respectively. It also topped the Japanese Import charts beating Lady Gaga. A deluxe edition was released in October 2011, featuring two bonus tracks and a DVD.

A Question of Balance is the sixth album by the Moody Blues, released in 1970. The album reached No. 1 in the United Kingdom and No. 3 in the United States. The album was an attempt by the group to strip down their previously lush, psychedelic sound in order to be better able to perform the songs in concert. Guitarist Justin Hayward remembers, "From the beginning of our recording sessions we were all convinced that we had to record an album of songs that could easily translate into effective live performances. In a way, we almost reverted to performing live in the studio, without venturing too much into the world of overdubs."

Miss E... So Addictive is the third studio album by American rapper Missy Elliott. It was released by The Goldmind Inc. and Elektra Records on May 15, 2001, in the United States. The album spawned the club and R&B/hip-hop hits "One Minute Man", featuring Ludacris and Trina, and "Get Ur Freak On", as well as the international club hit "4 My People" and the less commercially successful single "Take Away".
The album debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 250,000 copies in its first week. The album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Vol. 3... Life and Times of S. Carter is the fourth studio album by American rapper Jay-Z. It was released on December 28, 1999, by Roc-A-Fella Records and Def Jam Recordings. According to USA Today critic Steve Jones, the record marked a return to the street-oriented sound of Jay-Z's 1996 debut album, Reasonable Doubt.[1] Vol. 3... featured production from Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, K-Rob, DJ Clue, Rockwilder, DJ Premier, and Irv Gotti, among others.
The album was well received by critics and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 462,000 copies in its first week. It has since sold over three million copies and been certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

J.E. Heartbreak is the second album by the American R&B group Jagged Edge. It was released by So So Def and Columbia on September 28, 1999, in the United States. The title of the album is a reference to R&B group New Edition's 1989 hit "N.E. Heart Break".[3] Upon its release, the album peaked at number eight on the US Billboard 200 and atop the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. It was also certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and reached silver status in United Kingdom.

This Is the Remix is a remix album by American R&B group Destiny's Child. Released in the United States on March 12, 2002 by Columbia Records, the album compiles previously released R&B and dance remixes of songs originally featured on the band's first three studio albums: Destiny's Child (1998), The Writing's on the Wall (1999) and Survivor (2001). The album also includes one new track: "Heard a Word", a solo track performed by member Michelle Williams. The album's title is a reference to a lyric in the first track "No, No, No Part 2".
Upon release, This Is the Remix received generally mixed critical reception. It peaked at number 29 on the Billboard 200 and at number 8 on the New Zealand Albums Chart. In the United Kingdom, the album peaked at number 25 and was certified gold.
