По окончании же сессий команду покинул Скеллатор, и "Hallows eve" приобрели форму квартета. В 1986 году группа записала второй лонгплей под названием "Death and insanity". Этот концептуальный альбом был посвящен теме смерти, и поэтому слово "death" присутствовало практически в каждой композиции. Между прочим, на сессиях присутствовал вернувшийся в родные пенаты Хелтон. Он даже потом немножко погастролировал со своими коллегами, но в середине тура вторично свалил из группы.
