Это мой любимый диск Blind Guardian. Здесь заончился период их зрелости. Следующий альбом - это уже мастерство и качество. "Somewhere Far Beyond" - это последний выплеск бесшабашной энергетики и задора, последняя работы прежних Блайндов. Больше уже не будет веселых, скоростных и безудержных бардов, только взрослые, и профессиональные гвардейцы. Этот диск - вослощение мастерства спид-паур метала с налетом европейской и американской школ трэша. Акустическое вступление, красивые клавишные проходы, виртуозные соло - вот чем богат этот альбом. Песни мощны, непробиваемы, монолитно слиты, но в то же время мелодичны и подкреплены отличной вокальной работай Ханси.
