Чем интересна данная голландская группировка – это разношерстностью мнений в их адрес. Есть немало фанатов, у кого в фаворитах числится «Erase», кто-то молиться готов на «False», есть обожатели позднего периода, даже на «Chapter 13» найдутся неровно дышащие. Я же под присягой готов восхвалять «Soul Survivor» и утверждать, что лучший альбом GOREFEST – именно он. Предыстория такова: все началось с заурядного дэза, который затем стал накапливать черты прогрессивности. Затем творческие изыскания музыкантов привнесли в него кучу мелодизма, что дало повод окрестить стиль группы вычурным словосочетанием death’n’roll.
