Группа Gomorrah основана в 1990-ом году в городе Оксон, Великобритания, бас-гитаристом Джоном Кларком (John Clark), барабанщиком Фрэном Робинсоном (Fran Robinson), гитаристами Майком Приором (Mike Prior), Джозе Гриффином (Jose Griffin) и вокалистом Свэном Олафсоном (Sven Olafson). Группа играла классический Death Matal старой школы. В 1991 выпускается первое демо "Embryonic Stages". После этого коллектив начинает осваивать местные концертные площадки, а в 1992 выходит второе демо - "Umbilical Divorce". Параллельно Gomorrah в 1993 году Джон и Свэн организовали группу Necropolis.
