Y and T Альбом «Earthshaker», с которым группа дебютировала на новом лейбле, имел хороший успех, и коллектив получил дальнейшую возможность для раскрутки, открывая концерты таких монстров как «Kiss» и «AC/DC». Кроме того, команда удостоилась чести выступить на престижном фестивале «Monsters Of Rock» в Донингтоне. В 1982-м музыканты вновь посетили Англию, чтобы записать там очередной лонгплей, «Black Tiger». Однако, несмотря на сильный материал, дело подпортил продюсер Макс Норман, сделавший звук слишком рафинированным. Впрочем «Black Tiger» все же засветился в британских чартах, но на следующих сессиях «Y and T» поменяли Норманна на Криса Цангаридеса. Итог вновь оказался маловразумительным, хотя одна композиция, «Midnight in Tokyo», имела некоторый международный успех
