Итак, "In the Forest of the Dreaming Dead", неповторимый образец раннего "чернеющего" дэта. Много мелодий, красочных и необычных. Никак не верится, что настолько смелый подход к их сочинению, как и к исполнению, вообще мог быть присущ молодым шведским экстремальщикам в начале девяностых, но... Просто вслушайтесь в "Storms From the Skies of Grief" или "At Dawn/Whispering Shadows" - во многих композиционных решениях Unanimated явно обскакали будущих королей жанра эдак на полдюжины лет. Меж тем, в составе группы даже имеется клавишник, и пусть даже партии его по большей части фоновые, но тех, что поданы на переднем плане, уже хватает для сокрушительного удара по шаблонному мышлению.
