Превосходная канадская группа, чьи ранние работы для меня стоят почти на одном уровне с Death и Morbid Angel, причем и с теми, и с другими в музыке Gorguts имеется немало ассоциаций, хотя эти дэтстеры остаются неизменно оригинальными и узнаваемыми. Данный альбом, например, вполне мог бы стать продолжением "Spiritual Healing", если бы Шульдинер задался целью сгустить краски и намешать более плотный саунд. Ведь, в целом, Gorguts тут, по большей части, балансируют на грани брутала. Но есть факторы, по которым "Кишки" вряд ли с кем-нибудь спутаешь - эти плотоядные гитары и хищный пульсирующий бас прямо таки проникают под кору мозга!
